Bought myself a hookah

Well, it is a bit out of my regular notes, as I try to keep the "healthy" stuff going on, but lately I have become a fan or hookahs.
I know those are not particularily healthy, but I smoke one in some while ,trying to keep it once per 2-3 days.
Anyways, got myself an egyptian hookah , just like the one in the picture,from Wiki:



Also, purchased some funky hose from the middle-east hookah shop  , the hoses category. What can I say? Yea, it absolutely adds to the entourage. My girlfriend says, that the room now has middle-eastern looks, and smells (when I smoke that banana flavoured shisha, hehe).
Bought myself some hookah accessories - metal lid for the bowl, wind protector, cleaning brush, all sorts of stuff, hehe. I know, that this "smoking hookah" will not hold for a long time, but hey! This is something I wanted to do for a long time :-)

Found some nice motivation topic

Hi, everybody.
Continuing our talks of motivation ,here is very cool bodybuilding motivation discussion.
It mentions valid points , while discussing psychological problems of hard workout. Highly advised reading.
I am implementing these advices in my life. Not only in bodybuilding area, but also in boxing ( yes , I do that too). I have nice gloves, mouth protector (the "hobby item" part), have friends, have specific goals,and so on. Go ahead, don't be shy, read it.

Bodybuilding motivation.



Motivation is not to be underestimated. Most people fail building their body because they quit in the middle.
This is human nature - we want everything fast,easy and lots of it. Just like lottery.
Sports has some catch in this matter - when we first start training, our results are high. We loose water from our muscles - our weight goes down with it. It's a serious motivation boost, we are happy, we want to train more.
The next stage - our sluggish bodies begin to take shape (because they only needed this little push) - another motivation boost.
But then comes the hard part. Now you suddenly realize, that the more you advance - more effort you have to put in it. And slowly,slowly, our motivation decays. All it takes to get into this situation is 3-4month, then we are semi-satisfied with the results, and most of people quit.
But try to think - have you achieved your goals? Are you pumped with muscles, strong, have 10% body fat, and your bench-press is 150kg? Probably not.

Lets work on your motivation, then.
First of all - mindset. It is strange, yet proven - get yourself some accessory. For example - bodybuilding t-shirts. When you put on yourself one of those - you feel halfway there. It is your special bodybuilding t-shirt , and if you put it on - you are on your way to the gym,and nothing is stopping you. Definitely worked for me.
Another point - a habit. Set yourself a goal , 3 times a week, Monday,Tuesday,Thursday, at 20:00 - you are off to gym. (Choose the days, that are comfortable to you, I just randomly picked three). When it becomes your steady habit, it is much easier later on.
A friend. Meet somebody , who is also heavily into bodybuilding. You can share your progress, your workout details, your plans, diet, everything. You'll see, how a hobby partner motivates you to continue.
Set yourself a goal. Most people just go to gym, and they want "to get bigger". It doesn't work this way - you have to set yourself a clear goal. "90kg, 10% body fat, 120kb bench-press". This is a clear goal, and until you are not there - you'll keep going and going. That's our human nature, we have to complete defined goals.

Right on folks you are fit, you are on the top of your game, you have an abundance of energy, your BMI - Body Mass Index is bordering on you being described as being super fit. One would think that you did not have a problem in the world. But you are still not content as for example you are young, fit have in you and your friends opinion a good character and are great to have around. The issue you want to overcome is you want to date the 'eye candy beauty' you keep seeing in the local coffee shop,but she will not hang on to your advances. So you have a goal you want to achieve so you start looking at your bodybuilding diet and see that it is non existant so you see our products and check out our bodybuilding food and select a number of our bodybuilding foods products.

You follow a bodybuilding diet program for 8 weeks. Then on your day off you head down to the coffee shop in your 501 jeans and black armless Nike vest and you spot the 'eye candy beauty' and go over to chat with her, she is fixated she eyes your washboard ripple body and she agrees to have a date with you!

You did it you are made up! So it just proves that bodybuilding food and bodybuilding foods integrated into your bodybuilding diet have changed your life!

Now we accept that this case may be an exception but it is proven that your body physical condition and appearance will be improved by adding other foods into your diet

Take our advice it is easier to maintain in your body in optimum condition if you enhance your physical exercise program by introducing bodybuilding foods into your bodybuilding diet

Bodybuilding Food. Importance of breakfast.

Some seem to underestimate the value of breakfast. The first important thing , that is there in bodybuilding, is correct diet.
Everybody knows that - to build something, you must supply the bricks. Well, the bricks of our body is food. Proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins.
Our body is a survival. It has (and can) to survive in various situations, sometimes difficult (being left alone on island), sometimes not (our nice and easy civilized life, in a computer age). Thus, one of its important "features" is energy preservation. Our bodies know when we have enough food, and when we lack it. Thus, when we have lack of food (not eating anything for a long time, because of a diet, or because we were asleep) , it can go into "preservation mode" and slow metabolism process. And this is the last thing we want, if we are into bodybuilding (or fitness). We target fast metabolism. We want food digesting, converting into energy,becoming source for muscles, and then leaving us ,and not turning into fat, or becoming another dormant energy source.
If you stop eating for a long time (wrong type of diet) , you feel sleepy and tired all the time. This is the cause of a food shortage - body wants to sleep and preserve energy, and that is not our target, isn't it? We need bodybuilding food, and not sleeping one.
So, we established, eating frequently is important, to keep our metabolism in a good rate and us being full of energy.
Lets get back to breakfast. We are after ~8hours of sleep, and we have probably not eaten anything 2-4 hours before going to bed. In this case we have 10-12 hours of food shortage in our body, and this must be fixed immediately.
To refill our energy sources, and get the body working, instead of "preserving" , eat good and healthy morning meal. Bread with cheese, cottage cheese, salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, and more vegetables), eggs. Any other dairy products, such as milk (great with cereals!), yogurt would also do the thing.

Try avoiding fatty things, because you are now selecting yourself source of energy for the day, till you have your lunch, and that is a long time. Though, don't neglect fats at all, because they are important for our several systems. We'll tell about fats role in the foods in our next posts.
